Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to her Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She can speak fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and mother of a Russian mother. She choreographed an 11-year old performance which led to her being an appearance on German television appearance as a Russian Snow Maiden who transforms into a jovial Indian Dancer. After graduating at New York's High School, she was awarded her bachelor's degree in English degree at St. John's University. Following high school, she attended classes in acting at HB however she opted to improvise at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. She was created by her parents in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). She moved with her father to New York, when she was 13 and a half years old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Her most well-known role is the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress has a regular part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
